Representatives of SERVPRO stand alongside members of the Spencer Fire Department Friday each holding a plush dalmatian toy. The toys were donated by SERVPRO to assist the Spencer Fire Department in comforting young victims of tragedy, such as a fire or car accident. “We just wanted to do something for the community, when a child or somebody is in need, ... it’s something to take their mind off of the bad tragic event to the good, and it’s our way of giving back to the Fire Department,” said Lathe Toft, SERVPRO of Spencer and Iowa Great Lakes owner.
